Heated Version – Important Note for Tesla Owners

This heated wheel is designed for Teslas that came  from the factory with a heated steering wheel .

  • ✅ Works with your existing heat button (on the touchscreen – usually the steering wheel icon with heat waves)

  • ✅ No extra switches or battery taps

  • ✅ Retains all safety systems (airbag, clockspring)

How to check:  On your Tesla’s touchscreen, go to Climate Controls. If you see a steering wheel icon with heat waves (usually next to seat heaters), your car has the factory heated wheel. If not, the heated version will  not  work. Contact us for a non-heated version (same full black leather, no heating, lower price).

Model years:  Most 2021 and newer Model 3/Y have heated steering wheel standard or as part of a package. Early 2019–2020 models may not have it. Check your screen or VIN.

Installation Overview (DIY – 30–40 minutes)

Tesla-specific note:  Disconnect the  low voltage battery  under the frunk (or rear seat on some models). Wait at least 10 minutes for the airbag system to discharge. Do not rush this step.

  1. Disconnect negative terminal of 12V battery (frunk), wait 10 minutes

  2. Remove factory airbag using T30 Torx (two side access holes on back of wheel)

  3. Unplug airbag, heater connector, and scroll wheel connectors

  4. Remove center 19mm bolt (use breaker bar – Tesla bolts are tight)

  5. Pull off old wheel – mark straight-ahead position (tape on column)

  6. Transfer factory scroll wheel modules and buttons to new wheel (simple screw-in)

  7. Align new wheel onto splines, torque center bolt to 35 lb-ft (48 Nm)

  8. Reconnect all connectors – including heater plug

  9. Snap airbag back in, reconnect battery

  10. Reconnect battery, test horn, scroll wheels, buttons, and  heat function  (check touchscreen)

  • 46 to 60 Days of Delivery: Return requests are accepted, but the buyer must bear all return shipping costs. Additionally, a 10% restocking fee (calculated from the product's purchase price) will be deducted from your final refund to cover processing and warehouse re-shelving costs.
  • Over 60 Days of Delivery: We strictly do not accept any return, exchange, or refund requests. All sales become final after 60 days.

2. Return Freight Responsibility

The allocation of return shipping fees depends on the specific reason for the return:

A. The Seller Will Bear the Freight in the following cases:

  1. Damage or Missing Parts: If you identify physical damage or missing components after receiving the goods.
  2. Quality Problems Requiring Supplementary Parts: If there is a functional quality defect identified after receiving the goods, and you require supplementary parts instead of a full return.
    Note: Clear photos and videos must be provided to our customer service so we can process your supplementary parts or exchanges effectively.

B. The Buyer Will Bear the Freight in the following cases:

  1. No Quality Issues: If you wish to return the product after receiving it, but there is no quality problem and the item remains completely unused.
  2. Subjective Remorse (Disliked): If you voluntarily purchased the item but realized you dislike it, provided the product has not been used.

3. Non-Returnable Conditions

We strictly do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds under the following conditions:

  1. Improper Damage: Damage caused by unauthorized maintenance, misuse, neglect, man-made collisions, or any other buyer-inflicted reasons.
  2. Post-Use Dissatisfaction: If you decide you dislike or do not want the item after it has been used.

If you return the goods directly without our official confirmation and authorization, we will not be able to track your package, and our store will not issue a refund.
